For The Highly Functional

WeedFeed is a cannabis lifestyle and media brand I developed as part of the creative team at Dumpling House Media. Its mission is to destigmatize cannabis use and raise awareness of the injustices of prohibition through sharable content. I created daily viral social content, and by targeting a niche audience, we were able to organically grow to over 500k Instagram followers throughout the four years I managed it. WeedFeed has been shared by the world’s most prominent cannabis-related celebrities and brands, such as Snoop Dogg, Tommy Chong, and High Times Magazine.

Original Art

WeedFeed became one of the most talked about names in cannabis. The community loved our creativity, humor, and thought-provoking content. Our strategy was to create art that mashed up cannabis with everyday items and took advantage of viral trends and memes. The original art I created was recently featured in Hulu's new reality show, High Hopes, which was executive-produced by Jimmy Kimmel.

Taste Buds

One of WeedFeed’s first projects was an original cooking show called Taste Buds. Working with a cannabis chef, I produced, shot, and edited over 100 episodes. Taste Bud’s three-season run covered everything: classic brownies, full meals, drinks, and even infused Dunkaroos.

Cannvas

As WeedFeed grew in popularity, our followers always asked how to buy our art. I worked with a printing company to help bring our viral Instagram art to physical canvas. Over 50 'Cannvas' art pieces are now for sale on the WeedFeed website and can be found elevating the decor of cannabis dispensaries worldwide.

WeedFeed Shop

In 2020, WeedFeed opened an online store that sold apparel, art, and accessories. I co-created many of the products now featured on the WeedFeed shop. By leveraging the success of our art, we created shirts, hoodies, stickers, puzzles, and more.

Events

During my time at WeedFeed, we hosted eight events in New York and California. We aimed to convert online followers into attendees through infused dinners, comedy shows, and Halloween parties. With the help of my marketing strategies, all eight of these events were completely sold out. I shot and edited recap videos and posted them to WeedFeed's social media accounts.
